Keylane is Sole Visionary

Keylane, SaaS provider for the insurance and pension industry, is the sole visionary in Gartner’s recent Magic Quadrant for Life Insurance Systems in Europe.1 The Magic Quadrant aims to help life insurers’ CEOs and CIOs to make a well-advised decision when replacing their policy administration systems.“We are delighted with Gartner’s recognition of Keylane’s life insurance solution,” says Ronald Kasteel, executive board member at Keylane. “We believe our position in the Magic Quadrant validates our vision that the development of innovative product and service offerings are key to enable life insurers to meet ever-changing demands of customers, intermediaries and regulators. Gartner evaluated the products on offer, the overall strategy, and the understanding of market trends of more than forty software suppliers. A subset of those vendors has been included in the Magic Quadrant.

Product Innovation

Last year, Keylane invested significantly in its life insurance solution. An underwriting module has been incorporated and the portal now supports the complete life cycle processing for both the front and back office. “By choosing our offering of out-of-the-box products and services, insurance and pension companies achieve considerable cost reductions,” Ronald Kasteel says. “We work closely with our clients to develop the software they need.”

Migration and SaaS Services

Product innovation is a significant differentiator, but services are an important consideration in the Gartner report.

Keylane has a very successful track record of SaaS implementations and migrations for its life insurance clients. For the Top 3 Dutch company a.s.r. for example, Keylane implemented a brand-new policy administration for their service books in less than a year, including intermediary and customer portals.

Recently, Keylane has obtained the ISO 27001 certification for its managed hosting services as part of its Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. The certificate shows clients they can rely on a safe, secure and reliable service.
