The Keylane A/S 2025 Annual Report reflects another year of strategic progress, marked by continued growth, investments in AI-powered innovation and the ongoing evolution of the Plexus platform as the company expands its international footprint.
Keylane, a leading European provider of SaaS solutions for the life and pension industry, today publishes its annual report for 2025.
Within Keylane Group, the Life & Pension business, consisting of Keylane Life & Pension B.V. in the Netherlands and Keylane A/S in Denmark, delivered strong progress. Combined revenue across Denmark and the Netherlands reached EUR 76.3 million , an increase of 9.3% compared to 2024, while adjusted EBITDA rose to EUR 21.6 million , equal to 28% of revenue.
Continued expansion in the Nordics
The Nordic market remains a strategic focus for Keylane.
During 2025, the company strengthened relationships with existing customers while expanding its footprint through new customer engagements. Key milestones were the signing of a multi-year agreement with a leading Norwegian pension provider and the transition of one of the Danish customers to the cloud, further reinforcing Keylane’s position as a trusted SaaS technology partner for life and pension organisations across the region. Implementation in Norway is already underway, with go-live planned for 2027.
“Our strong performance in 2025 demonstrates that our strategy is delivering. We continue to invest in our SaaS platforms that help insurers and pension providers to modernise faster, while expanding our position across the Nordic market and preparing for the next phase of international growth”,
says Leon de Looff, MD, Keylane Life & Pension.
Plexus: Driving the next generation of life & pension administration
Plexus remains at the core of Keylane’s strategy and has evolved into the company’s largest and fastest-growing platform. Today, the platform supports life and pension providers across Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway, enabling insurers and pension providers to modernise their operations and reduce costs through a highly configurable, cloud-ready SaaS platform.
Driven by Keylane’s international product organisation across Denmark, the Netherlands and India, Plexus continues to provide customers with continuous innovation through a standard SaaS platform that balances flexibility with efficiency.
“Plexus is the leading life and pension platform for Europe. By combining deep industry expertise with AI-driven innovation and a compliant SaaS platform, we help our customers adapt faster to changing market conditions while continuously benefiting from new functionality”,
says Tonny Rabjerg, VP Plexus, Keylane Life & Pension.
Denmark is home to the development of Plexus and Obex, making it a key innovation hub supporting customers across Europe.
Denmark continues to play a central role in Keylane’s internationalisation and innovation strategy. It is home to the development of both Plexus and Obex, the market-leading financial planning solution in Denmark, making the Danish office a key driver of product innovation and international growth.
Revenue is recognised across Denmark and the Netherlands, while most of the costs are recognised in Denmark, reflecting the integrated nature of the Keylane Life & Pension business. As new Nordic customers are onboarded, recently implemented Dutch customers increase policy and participant volumes, and a new customer in Norway will go live, the Danish business will report significantly stronger financial results in the short term.
Obex is also supporting Keylane’s international ambitions, with opportunities currently being explored in both the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Expanding our international footprint
Recent strategic acquisitions, including Heywood in the United Kingdom and Vereycken & Vereycken in Belgium, further strengthen Keylane’s ability to support customers across Europe and create a strong foundation for future growth in additional markets, including North America.
After these acquisitions, Keylane supports more than 550 customers backed by an international team of more than 1,100 employees. The company combines deep industry expertise with scalable SaaS technology to support insurers in an increasingly complex and evolving market.
Looking ahead
Keylane remains focused on helping insurers and pension providers navigate digital transformation with confidence. With continued investment in AI, cloud-native technology and international expansion, Keylane is positioning itself to become Europe’s preferred SaaS partner for life and pension administration and communication.
