Keylane appoints Ralf Timmer as CEO

We are happy to announce that Ralf Timmer will be appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Keylane as per January 1, 2018. Ralf is currently Executive Board Member and together with Stephen Dews (CFO) he will continue to act on the Keylane Executive Board. Ronald Kasteel will leave the Board but stay involved in the company’s strategy going forwards as a shareholder and in a non-executive advisory role as Chairman of the Advisory Board.
Ralf will lead Keylane into its next stage of growth; translating vision and strategy into execution, building on its solid foundation. Ralf is an accomplished leader with a track record of building growing software companies. He brings a mix of strategic leadership, business operations experience, technical breadth and takes great pride in caring for our clients. He was founder and long-term member of the Quinity Board and later the Keylane Board.

Executive committee
From January 1st, the executive committee will be extended to reflect the increased scope of the company following its strategy of acquisitive growth. Ron van den Broek (CMO & CCO Non-Life), Jesper Essendrop (CCO Life & Pension) and Jan van Reenen (CTO) will be joined by Lukas van Grunsven (Chief Delivery Officer Non-Life), Hein Bleeksma (Chief Delivery Officer L&P) and Ad van ‘t Hof (General Counsel).

Ronald’s role going forwards
Ronald will join the Keylane Advisory Board as a Chairman, working with Waterland to support Keylane in this new phase. “From the beginning in 2012 when Waterland and I started Keylane it has been a great journey to build towards Keylane’s current firm foundation. I am proud of having been part of the success of Keylane. Now that it is time to focus more and more on autonomous growth, my role which was responsible for successful acquisitions comes to an end.
