Keylane Forward! customer event – an inspiring afternoon

KEYLANE November 12, 2015

The Keylane Forward! customer event that took place on Tuesday in Maarssen (NL) proved to be an inspiring and well visited afternoon. Over 120 customers of Keylane, working at insurance and pension companies, learned about digitalisation (to what extend?), changing legislation and regulations, and the breakthrough of the Internet of Things. How can they respond to these developments as effectively as possible? Which solutions and facilities can they provide to stand out from the competition and provide insured persons and pension holders with the best possible service? These and other current topics were addressed in presentations, best practices, product demonstrations and discussions. Craig Beattie from Celent kicked things off with a fascinating talk about current trends in the European insurance and pension market.

Replacing IT systems and utilising new software are exciting projects that call for clear objectives and a sound strategy. Several of Keylane’s customers shared their own experiences. Successful product rationalisation supported by the non-life insurance solution devised by Keylane (QIS) has enabled Univé to reduce its range of commercial casualty insurance products from 114 to 24. Zwitserleven, meanwhile, has significantly improved the transparency of its communication regarding pensions. This is thanks in part to the pension communication solution designed by Keylane (FinCircle). Lastly, a.s.r. managed to implement the life insurance solution developed by Keylane (LeanApps Life) within a year, including migration of information from its old systems. All three revealed their factors for success and  lessons learned.

Plenty of attention was also devoted to the direction taken by Keylane. In just a short period of time, various organisations have joined forces and Keylane has expanded to become a leading international organisation with a broad product range for insurers and pension institutions. What does this mean for customers? Keylane board member Ralf Timmer reflected on this question in great detail. Keylane is ready to move forward!

Keylane can now look back on a highly successful customer event. We welcomed a large international community with delegations from Norway, Sweden, England, Belgium and other countries. There were also representatives of all branches at the event: non-life insurance providers, life insurance providers, pension insurance companies and pension institutions.Keylane is proud of this customer base and looks forward to continue successful business with them as their trusted partner in insurance and pension solutions.

The inspiring afternoon was rounded off with a few drinks, which was a great opportunity to network and further discuss the issues raised during the event. Meanwhile, a few golf enthusiasts among the attendees, despite the rain, hit a few balls by the idyllic lake close to the event location. Keylane Forward!
